Optimism; op·ti·mism (pt-mzm)

Optimism is trust that things will get better no matter how bad they seem, looking for the best aspects of any situation, and the belief that good will inevitably triumph over evil.

eg. An optimist looks at a rose and ignores the thorns. A pessimist focuses on the thorns, oblivious of the rose.


The stupidist thing to ever occur in the human mind. False hopes, reaching for impossible dreams, and making inadequate preparations for a negative situation because the victim had a feeling "it wouldnt be too bad"
