Girl On Queen Street

tell me why we live like this?

` can you look me in the eye,
cause you're not telling me anything //

oh the soap opera, this place has become.

i guess running away didn't solve anything.
but time does heal, it does.

-off to the toilet to think-

toilets, not my thing anymore.
i think i've got a new favourite thinking place.
where the waves crash and salt is fresh air,
where fishes are a pleasant torment, and the sunset is just bonus,
i start to think.

lock the doors,
cause i'd like to capture this voice.
we're at war,
we live like this.

a week and a half, and then april's over.
boy, time sure flies.
oh glorious time.

school's been okay.
i mean, it IS school.
there ain't nothing much you can expect out of it but grades.
and the people, they're pretty good too.
the pretty classmates, my breakout getaways, the minorities that i've not forgotten, and the other little misfits that go so well with all that's happening now.
life = a bittersweet symphony.

who am i kidding.
then again, it's a hell better than those moping around questioning themselves about their lives and how boring and unaccomplished they are.
heeeeee

i love walking on broken glass
